This training course introduces the concept of loose parts and explores the benefits this offers children in their play setting. It is ideal both for anyone new to children’s play and anyone wishing to introduce loose parts to their setting.
Participants have the opportunity to explore both theory relating to loose parts play and the various resources that can be used – covering both small and large loose parts (though with a particular emphasis on large loose parts). This session is suitable for practitioners working with children of all ages, including babies and older children.
The length is 2-3 hours depending on your needs. This course may be part of our annual training programme on a fixed date, but can be bought-in at other times. Please check our website for up-to-date information.
