What will I learn?
Delegates will explore current understanding and knowledge about attachment theory and how to support key worker approaches in an early years setting.
- Recognise ways in which positive attachment relationships are supported through implementation of the Care Inspectorate’s Health and Social Care Standards (2017)
- Understand the important role of the key worker in supporting young children’s experience of secure attachment
- Understand possible reasons why attachments may not be secure
- Recognise elements of practice which contribute to positive attachments.
